Nemesis Saxophone Quartet is a recently established ensemble of four young and promising saxophonists from Poland. It has been officially founded in 2020 when the musicians all got together at the Chopin University of Music in Warsaw in the saxophone class of Paweł Gusnar.
Throughout their short collaboration they managed to earn I prize at the 7th International Chamber Music Competition in Bydgoszcz. They have already performed during various festivals and concerts. Despite the quartet average age of 21, its members already have a very rich artistic past.
During various festivals and concerts, they have performed at the most prestigious concert halls in Poland. Beside that they all are established solo saxophonists who took part and received many awards at competitions all across Europe. All four saxophonists are scholars of Young Poland scholarship, National Fund for Children programme and owners of multiple scholarships of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage of Poland.
They additional advantage is the baritonist Wojciech Chałupka who is also a well-known composer of polish young generation, also giving the quartet many opportunities to perform and record his works.
