Révélation ADAMI Classique 2021, Stéphanie Huang gained her bachelor’s degree magna cum laude at the Royal Conservatoire of Brussels, then went on to study at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris.
At the age of 12, she won first prize at the Concours Dexia and made her debut at La Monnaie in Brussels in Tchaikovsky’s Variations on a Rococo Theme. In July 2015 she won the Grand Prix at the Suggia International Cello Competition in Porto.
She has been supported by various sponsors such as SPES, the Meyer and Kriegelstein Foundations, Patrick Petit, and was selected for the 2019-2020 Jaroussky Academy, the prestigious 2019/2021 Seiji Ozawa International Academy, and the Music Academy of Villecroze. Stéphanie Huang has performed the major concertante repertoire (Dvoák, Elgar, Tchaikovsky, etc.) with the Kamerfilharmonie van Vlaanderen, Orchestre Royal de Chambre de Wallonie, Orquestra Sinfónica do Porto and others, led by conductors such as Michael Sanderling and Carlos Izcaray.
She has also performed at various national and international festivals.
